Then you might be the Test Automation Engineer we are looking for.
PVS, a leading manufacturer of audiovisual solutions under the brands PROCAB, AUDAC, and CAYMON, is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Production Engineer (Electronics) to join our dynamic and collaborative team. What does the role involve?
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our AV products by developing and executing automated tests for our new products and for Audac Touch, our all-in-one control hub.
You will work with a Python-based test automation framework built around Robot Framework to automate our R&D testing processes.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework for both hardware and software testing.
- Contribute significantly to the development and improvement of our Python-based test automation framework.
- Ensure that all tests are executed within our CI/CD environment.
- Work closely with various teams, including R&D, to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
- Analyse test results and share clear feedback with developers.
- Tackle complex technical challenges related to product quality.
What are the expectations for employment?
- You preferably hold a master’s degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field (or have equivalent experience). Experience in a similar role is a plus.
- You are strong in programming, with a focus on embedded systems. Experience with Python is an advantage.
- You have a critical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- You have a passion for quality and an eye for detail.
- You enjoy working closely with colleagues from different teams.
- You have strong communication skills and a good command of English.
What is a definite plus for us: - You have experience with embedded programming.
- You are familiar with Robot Framework or other test automation tools.
- You have knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- You have a background in electronics and/or hardware testing.
- You have experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD systems (e.g. GitLab).
